JVC CD-R DUPLICATION SYSTEM PROVIDES HIGH-VOLUME CD RECORDING
Las Vegas, NV (November 18, 1996) -- JVC Information Products Company of America introduced today its new 10 Drive CD-R Duplication System. Previously available in a 5-drive tower model, the new 10-drive towers support users increasing production demands for reliable, uninterrupted multiple CD Recording. Towers can be daisy-chained for simultaneous recording of 10, 20 or up to 100 CD-R discs at the same time!
Models are available with 2X or 4X speed CD recorders to meet the users' critical production needs. Additional SCSI hard disk, CD-ROM player or Jaz drives can be configured to support the transfer of data for recording. All systems include JVC's unique Multiplexor Controller and RomMaker premastering software for WIN95 or NT. The Multiplexor, combining additional memory and management firmware, provides the added security of guaranteeing simultaneous, uninterrupted transfer across multiple CD-R drives.
"We are pleased to offer customers the flexibility and reliability that the Multi-Drive System provides," stated Richard Young, JVC Information Products' President. "With the ability to add additional drives and towers as needed, and with the added reliability of our Multiplexor, the systems are ideal for high-volume CD-R production requirements."
